Origin Story

I had a gut feeling my first breakup was coming—so naturally, I booked a flight to Europe.

I decided to study abroad with one of my best friends, Sarah, who I met in a Zoom math class at Suffolk University. We were first-semester sophomores, and in my head, I was already living my Mamma Mia dream in Santorini, Greece—thanks to a high school marketing project that somehow convinced me it was my ultimate destination.

But Sarah wasn’t on board with Greece. And since I’ve never been the type to spend more than a few days alone, I pivoted. Florence, Italy it was.

What I thought was a “second choice” ended up becoming the best three months of my life. It completely changed me—and gave me a full-blown obsession with travel.

I met a girl named Bekkah, and from the second we met, we were inseparable. We spent our weekends hopping between countries—10 in total. (Yes, 10.) That trip alone changed the trajectory of my life. I’m now at 19 countries and counting.

When I came back to the U.S., something weird—but amazing—started happening. People I had never even met were coming up to me, asking for travel tips, hyping up my photos, and wanting recommendations. And I loved it.

That’s when it clicked: I didn’t just love traveling—I loved helping other people experience it too.

But flying to a new country every weekend from the U.S. wasn’t exactly realistic. So I created a new goal: visit all 50 states in four years (2022–2026).

Why four years? No idea. No research, no master plan—just vibes, spreadsheets, and a lot of trial and error.

If I could go back, I’d probably do some things differently. But that’s exactly why this exists—to share what I’ve learned and help you travel smarter, better, and more intentionally.

Welcome to the past four years of my life.
