Overview

Everything really is bigger in Texas. From the live music scene in Austin to the incredible barbecue in Lockhart, this state is a world of its own. I explored the vibrant murals of Houston, watched bats emerge from under the Congress Avenue Bridge in Austin, and drove through the otherworldly landscapes of Big Bend. Texas surprised me with its diversity — desert, coast, city, and ranch all in one state.
