2026 Travel Goals: From Hawaii to Alaska and Beyond

2026 is THE year. I've got 14 states left to visit, and I'm determined to check off as many as possible. Here's the plan:

The Schedule

March: Pacific Northwest 🌲 **Oregon & Washington** with Blake. We've already booked this one! I'm excited to explore Portland's food scene, hike in the Columbia River Gorge, and drive up to Seattle and Olympic National Park.

April: Hawaii 🌺 Two full weeks in paradise. I'm planning to island-hop between Oahu, Maui, and the Big Island. This is the trip I've been dreaming about — snorkeling, hiking volcanoes, and eating my weight in poke bowls.

May: The Plains States 🌻 **Kansas & Oklahoma** — there's a wedding bringing me out this way, and I'm using it as an excuse to explore. The Flint Hills of Kansas are supposed to be gorgeous, and Oklahoma City has a surprisingly great food scene.

June: Yellowstone Road Trip 🦬 **Wyoming, Montana & Idaho** — the big one. Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, plus exploring Bozeman and Sun Valley. This is going to be a 2-week adventure through some of the most stunning landscapes in America.

July: The Heartland 🌽 **Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa & Nebraska** — I'm combining these into one big road trip. Sleeping Bear Dunes, the Boundary Waters, and wide-open prairie roads.

August: Alaska 🐻 The last frontier! This is going to be the crown jewel of the year. Glaciers, wildlife, the midnight sun — I can barely contain my excitement.

2027 Preview: Going International 🌍 I'm already starting to plan my first big international trip: **Iceland, Norway, Finland, and Austria** in one epic Scandinavian + Alpine adventure. Northern Lights, fjords, saunas, and schnitzel. More details coming soon!
